Áine started her career working at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and then at the Royal Court in London. She worked as an agent at the prestigious Troika in London and as an agent in the comedy department of Lisa Richards in Dublin, before moving into casting. Initially, she was Casting Associate for Amy Rowan on projects including Amazon’s MODERN LOVE (directed by John Carney) before working for Louise Kiely Casting. For LKC, she worked on numerous television series including NORTHERN LIGHTS (Deadpan Productions), OBITUARY (Magamedia & HULU) and THE TOURIST (Two Brothers Pictures & BBC). Áine then moved on to cast MOTHER MARY, directed by David Lowery and SPILT MILK, directed by Brian Durnin. She has also done the European casting for Joshua Oppenheimer’s THE END. For television, she has cast the Irish-language series SAOR SIN O OLC. She has recently begun co-casting with Sarah Jones and they have just completed casting on Jim Sheridan’s RE-CREATION and the second series of THE TEACHER.
